Yeah. That's what the Klitschkos do in sparring. They let Wlad drop a sparring partner numerous times before letting him knock the sparring partner out cold.

Have you seen the Klitschkos training videos? They post them for all their camps. There isn't a whole lot of violence going on.

 

It's reported in the Wilder Chronicles that are irrefutably researched, he was dropped by two jabs, and KTFO'd with a hook of medium capacity

 

That's a good tactic. Instill a deep rooted fear in a green sparring partner just in case you ever have to meet them in the real ring when they come up.

 

Yes he did. Wilder was a bit more of a greenhorn and still had his abysmal chin.

 

I think I've read those. And then he went to buy pastries afterward, and the pastry chef beat him, too. I think that's how it went.

 

He went in for a hug and miss-timed it, catching Wilder with a jab en route knocking him down / out.
