If Canelo drops WBC then asks GGG for 155, what excuses will you fans come up with?

Because it was in his best interests.

He's obtained the IBF, he's been paid, and he's gotten a mandatory out of the way.

You devote a hell of a lot of time writing the same stuff everyday for an average 250 readers. Pointless.

    NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!!

GGG competed at 165lbs as an amateur, he fought the likes of Bute and Dirrell. These guys a huge 168lber's

I wouldn't give GGG so much stick for not going down to 155 if he just admitted he is too big. Instead he says he could do it easy and just wont budge out of stubbornness/greater than thou morals.

But why would he budge at this stage, when it appears as though he has the backing of the WBC?

Canelo and GBP have said no 155, no fight. I don't think they care that much about the title, if GGG gets it without fighting Canelo its not as valuable.

Wrong - you just need to spend some more time looking at other topics. :deal

Good job man - I am assuming that GGG thread's are your job?

Personally I don't think refusing a cathweight fight, especially one were you must drop weight , is a duck! I see a duck as refusing to fight another fighter in the same division! To me Canelo is ducking for the simple reason, he has a belt at 160 and is asking another 160 belt holder to drop weight to fight him! Bottom line is, Canelo doesn't feel comfortable fighting at a full 160 and G doesn't feel comfortable giving Canelo any real advantages by cutting weight. G knows that Canelo will come in that fight around 170, Canelo knows this too! That's why he wants G to cut weight! No secret or surprise here, just gamesmanship!

Who misses out if the fight doesn't happen?
Canelo is a big star he has options?
GGG will probably only get to fight Taureano Johnson
GGG will be 36 when the young lions like Chris Eubank jr will want to fight him and by then CEJ's physicality will overwhelm an aged GGG.
