If Canelo drops WBC then asks GGG for 155, what excuses will you fans come up with?

If Canelo drops the belt I don't see why GGG would want to fight him. He makes decent money and he's fighting to unify the division and you know...be a great fighter. Alvarez as a non-middleweight doesn't fit into that picture.

Also, your weights are way off. GGG and Alvarez are the same weight, and Ward is a solid 15lb bigger than both of them.

 

HBO and Team GGG want you to believe that but Canelo is definitely smaller than GGG. 5lbs doesn't sound like much in the real world but in boxing its quite a big deal.

Ward is probably 10-15lbs bigger than GGG now, but not when 164 was offered.

If you compare height, reach, and walking around/fight night weight, GG and Canelo aren't too far apart in size.

The fact is 154 isn't all that different from 160 at the moment and I'd rather see Canelo fight against Golovkin, Lemieux, etc.

Isn't GGG's refusal to fight Canelo at 155 just as cowardly as Canelo refusing to fight GGG at 160?

A more sane argument would be why doesn't Canelo fight Golovkin at 160 considering he holds a title there and fights in the middleweight division.
