canelo proposed the CW because floyd said he wouldnt fight him at all .....but canelo was chasin that chicken and brought it up to floyd and floyd said ok....because thats what floyd does...he basically just messed with canelo to show him who is the BOSS! when yer a boss people chase you....thats why a guy like khan ran as fast as he could for canelo....thats why canelo was more than happy to come see floyd at 152 and then you have guys who sell 97k ppvs that people are passing by because he isnt a boss
Why would Canelo propose a cw, he never did............... He even admitted it was Floyd's idea. Why are you re-writing history?
Props to Khan you fight the fighters at there weight, Mayweather Canelo should be looked at as a N/C Canelo was drained
im not rewriting anything floyd said he wouldnt fight canelo at 154....so canelo came back and said "well if we fight at 152 will you do it"?...floyd said ok.....so basically it was canelo that proposed it but he pinned it on floyd because he had to propose it to get floyd to even consider fighting him floyd is a boss...he messed with canelo.....he got canelo to burn a couple just because he could.....canelo was more than happy to bring it and do it for the chance to chase the greatness! it is what it is man...you cant accept it and live happily and peacefully....or you can keep fighting it to no avail....floyd is the best of this era/generation with no question....just embrace it
So you're saying Floyd ducked 154 Canelo? You know another champ in his division and proposed a cw? Sounds like him, truly disgraceful. Asking another guy in your division to fight at a cw is truly a scum move.
well you cant have it both ways(although i suspect that might be something that you are interested in)..... either floyd asked him for a cw...or my tale is incorrect.....so we cant entertain that my version is correct here....you already told me i was wrong.....so i guess im just wrong and floyd asked him for a cw....so youll have to keep looking for an answer to your original question i guess either way...floyd is going down as an ATG and surefire best of his era/generation....so im not really sure whos going to care about the answer other than a loser
All I know is that Canelo was getting major props beating up on Lopez and other 140 pound fighters in the past. He went down 2 pounds for Floyd and everyone is mad at Floyd. But now Canelo continues to drag fighters up and it's acceptable. It's acceptable for Floyd to drain GGG but not Canelo?
Here's where the desperate losers start throwing around the words "belt" and "mandatory" like they mean something
Oscar was the ppv king so just like people complain about Mayweather making Maidana wewr his choice of gloves and making Canelo lose two pounds he made Floyd go up to a weight class he had never fought at. Its an ugly part of the sport but its how it works
This is it. Pbf at that time was a shot caller he earned the right to dictate terms canelo knew this wanted to achieve greatness and accepted. That's all it is guys like pbf and canelo did what they had to do to get the fights they wanted ggg for example won't. He and his fans think he's too good for that. He's in no position to dictate or be picky when he's never beaten a fighter of note nor done big ppv numbers. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
"Alvarez appraoched Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions and requested a fight with Mayweather. 'It's what I want, the Mayweather fight. That's what we put on the table. I feel more mature and for that I am willing to go to 150 pounds' said Canelo" http://www.boxing s c e n e.com/saul-alvarez-ill-drop-150-floyd-mayweather-jr--46563 Canelo put himself in the catchwegith position and Floyd called him on it.
Exposure Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!:happy Everyone has convenient amnesia when talking about a Mayweather opponent who lost. Then turn around and defend every catch weight that Manny Pacquiao had. Can't have it both ways.:-(
