If Hughie Fury is so good, why has he ducked Wilder and Joshua?

Lots on here believe he'd beat Joshua, yet it's well known he turned down the fight vs Joshua. They pretended they had a fight agreed in order to use that as their excuse and it turned out they lied and instead faced a complete bum in Guinn.

Wilder offered Hughie a chance at his belt and they turned that down too.

Do they have no confidence in the man who proclaimed he'd be the youngest champ ever? :huh

 

I actually didn't know about being offered and turning down a Joshua fight, although did read that he was offered a shot at Wilder - turned down because of the 6 weeks notice or something like that? bad call really not to take the fight, a shot at a strap and many expecting you to lose anyway - he'd have plenty of time to come back from that if he did take it and lost.

 

Peter said they turned down the Joshua fight as they already had one agreed. Turned out to be yet another lie from him.

 

Come on, who on here truly believes that small plodding Heavyweight with next to no power is beating AJ.

Apparently his next fight is a good test according to some - Kassi is 6ft tall and has no power. How is this remotely the sort of test Hughie needs?!

I think he is decent, but yeah he's not really fought anyone who stylistically should prove a challenge at all. The Kassi fight was just horrid to watch to be honest.

And yeah, Kassi might well have 'beaten' AJ's next opponent, but having watched the fight it doesn't change my mind at all that Hughie would get splattered.

He's very young, especially for a Heavyweight, so has all the time in the world to work his way up and craft his skill more.

Even Gary Corniche would be a step up from his current opposition. The Fury's have made themselves look silly when it comes to Hughie.

First he was going to be the youngest Heavyweight Champion of all time, now he needs time to mature.

The funniest thing is when Hughie tried to imply his resume is better then Josh's.

Twisting what I am saying, the point I am making is why talk about winning bf World titles at 20, to box Larry Drug cheat aged 21.
