Jesus is he still fighting? Austin was old when he fought Wlad a decade ago, how old is he now must be well into his 40's.

Ruiz Jr needs to realise nobody is taking him seriously until he takes his career seriously. His promoter the fans and networks know a fighter in as bad a shape as he is, is going nowhere.

Last time I saw The Austin Assassin he had shades of a prime Larry Holmes in there though eventually lost.
Let's see if they can heat his corpse up enough to last a couple of rounds.

    This fight is ridiculous.

Ruiz is pathetic, first he tried to fight 43 year old Michael Grant (thank God doctors stepped in), now this... And this guy is ranked by major boxing organizations? For what? :|

Well, the last 2 relevant fighters to beat him have gone straight into WBC title fights, so regardless of how long ago it was, it would appear, Ruiz Jr, who has a "DECENT" resume to date, and is very skilled, decorated by that perfect record.....

Yeah, you'd think this fight would at least get him into the next eliminator, if not directly into the top slot should the title change hands next w/e. :patsch
