    Watched a documentary on him (by ESPN i think), and dear heaven it was depressing.

    Yeah, Gary Mason was a real nice friendly man too. I met him once. I wish I'd talked to him a bit more on that occasion.

    The worse thing I remember about the Edwin Valero tragedy was watching one of his fights a few months after it had occurred and seeing his wife and children sitting ringside. His wife was very beautiful and I just felt so sorry for their children.
