From what I see on interviews most fighters take the side of golovkin while trainers and fans shows more sympathy for canelo.

If Canelo didn't hold the WBC middleweight title it wouldn't look so bad for him.

The belt is the problem, you can't fight at 155 and pretend to be a middleweight champion.

If Canelo was just making fights at 155 with no titles even I wouldn't give him hammer.

On topic, Canelo has no right to impose weight on Golovkin, or anyone 154-160.

I would side with GGG too if he hadn't previously claimed that he would be willing too and could make 154.

I don't think anybody agrees totally with catch weight's in title fight's, GGG is being asked to because he said personally along with his team that he'll beat anyone 154-68 so no fight should be held up over weight in regards to him.

I think if he never made that statement he'd be more respected overall today, but when you say such grandiose things people are gonna expect you to live up to it.

So what if Canelo's setting the weight limit as 155 against Khan. If it was 160 Canelo would have a bigger advantage. The issue is only that he's fighting a welterweight. It's only unfair for Canelo to force a middlweight to come down to 155, which is of course is what he's insisting GGG does.

He can do whatever he wants for optional defenses but for Madatory fights he has to fight at 160 or lose the belt. It is that simple.

Most fighters aren't in Golovkins position. Not that it matters. Canelo has came out and said that 155 isn't the problem anymore. He must have been afraid GGG would call his bluff when it came crunch time.

Does this only apply to GGG or does it apply to Ward too? Ward also said he was willing to move down to MW for Floyd, remember?

Future ATG GGG doesn't need Canelo. The Big DRAMA SHOW will roll on with or without that red hair coward.
