At the moment, a referee will ask a fighter to come forward after a KD. New Jersey is changing it so that a fighter will have to come forward and demonstrate lateral movement... LOL? What next? Do the Ali shuffle or the fight gets waved off?
I think it's better if they just ask a boxer to do one thing, either left, right, step back or forward and ask a question that needs a clear answer. If you make him do some kinda dance, you're efectively give him more time to recover which can possibly change the outcome of the fight.

A fighter has 10 seconds to recover after a KD. 3 or 4 of it shouldn't be performing like a circus ****** as you're trying to recover.
I don't see the issue. They already do something similar when the fighter is asked to raise his gloves and walk towards the ref after the count is completed. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
