    I can see why people would think that was premature but by the same token I can also understand why his corner pulled him out. Lemieux is a massive puncher and chances are Tapia would likely have been caught with something huge shortly after. The beating Tapia took against Kirkland was horrendous too.

    There was no way Tapia was winning that fight - as well to stop it. He either never had the power or Lemieux took it away from him in round one. Either way, that fight was only going one way.
