I was fortunate to see the fight live tonight. 1. First of all, great KO by Canelo. Its always nice to see a mouthy fighter like Khan get beat (not that I wanted him to be KTFO like that - apart from the fact it shuts up his UK fan boys for 2 minutes). 2. What the hell is going on with the Mayweather nutswingers at the moment? Why all of a sudden are you going life and death to justify and defend Canelo? I had a talk to a Mayweather fan at the Signature last night and he was telling me how the locals have switched sides since Floyd retired, Canelo is now America's boy :tired It would make sense. Hell, people are going out of their way to defend Canelo on here. The crowd was quiet as hell while Khan was winning the first 4 rounds (and comfortably!). Then I have the RBR on my phone while the fight was live (for comparisons sake) and I see people like Pimp C, MVC!, Kush and the other groupies saying that Canelo was winning after 4/5 rounds!?! 3. Although I cant stand Khan as a person, full credit to his performance tonight. He boxed very well at range. Used good lateral movement and utilized his advantages well against Canelo's flaws. As soon as his movement disappeared late in round 4, he was doomed. 4. Canelo looked average tonight. Nothing new for fighters to start slow, but if that was an opponent with heavy hands (like a Middleweight), then Canelo needs to get that early start going sooner. It wasn't until the 4th he started to find his range and actually find Khan. The best work from Canelo was the bodywork he managed to tag Khan with. 5. Canelo was reaching with almost all of his power shots. As he was reaching, he was falling in and dropping his guard immediately. Can any educated boxer, please explain to me how on earth you believe he gets away with this against the elite of the division? 6. People will defend Khan and say he only lost because his chin is china. After this fight, I disagree. He got clipped with a couple of power shots and shook them off fine. Canelo hit him with a great shot and got the result that he intended to get. 7. Although Virgil Hunter is a knob (Anyone else think he looks & sounds like Samuel L Jackson?) he was right on the money. There is absolutely no reason for Canelo to fight Golovkin. Pick up your ***** and fight the fight that people want to see. Talk is talk until the fight is made. Khan is someone who has bad terrible whiskers, but still had the ***** to fight a man 8lb's heavier! Why can't Canelo make it work for less than half of that weight? I hope you all enjoyed the fight!
Khan has always had a china chin, after a few rounds he is done for. El Pollo Alvarez fought a natural 140 lb. fighter who ate like he was starving to get to 147, but 155?! Chicken Alvarez is supposed to be a 160 lb. middleweight champion and Golovkin is his mandatory. Teddy Atlas said that Alvarez will never fight Golovkin..............Golovkin by knockout!!! Since when has the middleweight division been 155?! 1 lb. over Jr. Middleweight, so Chicken should go back down to Jr. Middleweight since he is afraid to fight at middleweight. Khan was a 5,000 to 1 underdog, most knew it, including El Pollo and Oscar.....................Golovkin by knockout............
Good post. Khan dared to be great by stepping up. The keyboard warriors will revel in the knockout but lets face it, if Golovkin faces Canelo the result will be the same but with Canelo out cold too.
Middleweight championship?? my **** it is. 1lb over the super welterweight division is making a mockery of the division and all the true greats who fought in it. The WBC should be ashamed of its approval of these contracted scams that are allowed like they are with the ginger/yellow mexican named Canelo. :deal

1. fully agree 2. any fighter floyd beat, has to be elevated to a loftier perch in order to make floyds win all the more impressive. he did what he was expected to do, right up untill the end. his movement dissapeared because canelo rearranged his organs inside his torso. slowed his reaction time and forced him to look to defend his body first, then just came over the top of a lazy jab. textbook stuff. 4. canelo took liberties against khan that i dont think he would take against ggg. he threw like he knew if he got countered it would only hurt his pride. 5. see #4 6. his chin is probably not as bad as advertised... still far from solid. 7. not his place to complain about something he had a hand in creating. i'll see what happens in september, if its not ggg, i'll boycott canelo enjoyed your post, its good to see various opinions from real fight fans.
WBC; Please enforce your rules. Do not change the 160 lb. division to 155, boxing history is at stake here..............
Luckily those same little turds are juanturds so they are easy to spot and should have some on your ignore list already
