So do a lot of GDP's fights to be perfectly honest. The guy backpeadled slowly all fight, and took shots, when he hit back, his punches looked astonishingly weak. The way a 18 year old who is sparring with his 13 y/o brother punches. Then the KD looked weird, and he gets up and starts doing Shakespere; "oh no...what are you doing..." while the corner stops the fight WAY to early....

It's not only GDP; I think it happens more often than you would think in boxing, I'm about 60/40 convinced that The Fight of The Century was a fix (by both parties, don't get too excited, Pac****s.)

    You tell me...

Tapia seemed badly hurt to me after the left hook.

It was a flash KD, Tapia was fine. His corner stopping the fight like that was incredibly fishy

Looked incredibly like the Nichols-Wilder fight, except Nichols was stomping Wilder when Nichols corner stopped the fight.
    What a shame.

It very easy for 2 fighters to make "rig" a fight. Floyd vs Berto was a one that I'm suspicious of.

Really dude? Would think you would be above posting stupid **** like this.... Only thing about that fight that was questionable was the stoppage, even then it's understandable why his corner pulled him out.... More than likely he was just going to continue getting pounded if not KO'd as soon as the fight resumed.

And it wasn't even Roach who came in to stop it. Some unknown guy from ringside ran in the ring and threw in a white tee-shirt!:patsch

My guess is that someone very powerful had money on Lemieux TKO-4.

Berto is a clumsy, awkward guy with bad footwork, who can be effective against guys who stand there to get hit.

To me, it looked like an old Mayweather (and he is way past his prime) trying hard for a knockout and just couldn't to anything with him.

Pac - May on the other hand, it looked like Paq was winding up to throw one slow punch at a time all night, and mayweather just lovetapped him when he was wide open. I mean he threw NOTHING with any force at Manny's head from the 3rd round on.

If Lemieux wasn't as hard a hitter and didn't have such a large size advantage then it could be ruled questionable. The fact is you can't treat every fight the same. Tapia wasn't fighting for a title nor had he sown he could hang with big punchers in the past. On top of that he's young with a lot of career left in him.

You are probably a young guy, and it's hard to fathom for you favorite sport, but it happens all the time.

Here is a Spanish article translated (poorly) by google. Never made a peep in the English speaking media.

Juan Manuel Marquez himself said that Canelo - Angulo was a fix.

Yeah it's a crooked sport, but at the same time people tend to complain when there's zero evidence of it.

Lemieux for all of his flaws can crack and Tapia is a chinny guy who was stopped at 154 by Kirkland and Soro... Really that hard to believe what you witnessed with your very eyes?

As for Canelo/Angulo..... Angulo is a punching bag who *gasp* looked like a punching bag against Canelo. How on earth was that fight fixed? :huh

Interesting article. Canelo vs Mosely could have been a fix. Canelo went easy on the old man to get some rounds in.

Bradley Pac 1 was proof of it.

So was Bradleys fight against Chaves. Bradley won that fight easily and it was a draw.

    Boxing is dirty as ****.
