    Whether that's fair or not is for Floyd to decide. He's certainly not ducking by not accepting that fight. He doesn't want to make that fight and that's fine.

    However, Canelo is the middleweight WBC Champion and Golovkin is also a champion who happens to be his mandatory. The limit in this division is 160. Glad I was able to educate and clear this up for you. If there's anything else you need let me know.

    Why put the belt aside? Could they even do that in this situation? If Alvarez gives up the belt it goes directly to GGG since he's interim champion. So if they fought, Alvarez would still be fighting for the belt.

    WBC said if Canelo drops the belt then they are elevating GGG to full champion. There is no fight with anyone for the vacant belt. It opens up GGG to fight either Saunders or Jacobs in the Fall which the WBA said they WILL be ordering if Canelo ducks the fight.

    Catchweight fights are a disgrace and cheapen the sport. Oscar and Canelo are painted into a corner since GGG is the mandatory. None of their ridiculous demands mean anything. If this were an optional fight then sure use all your BS tactics. But it isn't an optional fight. It is a mandatory and it is 160 or no fight. Period.

    That sounds like a desperate plea from a desperate Canelo and a desperate fan.

    Canelo is cornered, he either fights at 160 for the WBC title, gets stripped or drops it and is ridiculed forever :good

    The WBC belt has always been the issue, the 160 limit has always been the issue but now Canelo is cornered he wants to make pleas about "pride and glory"?

    Canelo opens his mouth and looks worse by the day, Canelo might be the bigger draw but he has two options, it's his decision.

    Canelo is going to decide how he is viewed by the world of boxing and more importantly his countrymen by his next move.
