I do have to agree these points with len.
The tactics were very risky and dangerous a lot of assumptions were made whilst drawing up the game plan and i can understand joe banking on this guy not having much experience past 6rds but if only barrosso could of thrown the combos a little more professionly i.e each shot purposefully placed with the right intention instead of all power shots at the gaurd. Then the outcome might of been different. There was even times before ant came into the fight that i thought all those shots he was taking on the gaurd was going to break the gaurd up they were that hard.
Barrossa lacked championship experience on sat night. Hopefully he understands this and comes back for another shot cos he is good to watch.
    Well done crolla.

Well said ...although I'm a bit suss of the wAy you say...'I do have to agree with len' as if it's some sort of crime to agree with Len!

Crolla is a very good boxer , and a decent guy too.
I'm quite sure many trainers, such as the brilliant Shane McGuigan could have trained him to beat the one dimensional and inexperienced Barroso....and indeed beat him the EASY way as opposed to the jg way.

But let's be clear ...all credit to Anthony Crolla.

All credit should go to Joe Gallagher, the 3 time world champion.

He does himself no favours in interviews. I dislike him but he obviously does a great job with his stable

To call Quigg and Liam Smith "World" champions is stretching it.

Indeed re: Quigg, for sure. He 'won' two world title belts, neither of them in the ring...

That is the total opposite of what everybody says. When a fighter loses they both get blame, but when a fighter wins it is nothing to do with the trainer, hence why I made this post. Joe gets a ridiculous amount of stick on here and I just felt like its about time someone gives him a bit of credit when in reality it was the game plan that won Crolla the fight. Yes Crolla had to carry out the game plan and he did that perfectly but they both deserve huge credit.

 McGuigan has achieved nothing in comparison to many other British trainers so don't overhype him, hes a good coach but needs to do things with a fighter that isn't a very talented fighter before he can be 'brilliant'.

Mcguigan showed his worth after the first round of the Gonzalez fight

And let's be fair Gallagher has been gifted the likes of Callum smith, quigg and cardle and screwed up quigg in his last fight and has cardle regressing under him

i disagree, joe has plenty of talent coming through, burton, cardle, morrison and johnston all these guys would have wnt there because thhe gym is sucessful, whereas and i dont been to be nasty shane really only had carl, who is a cracking fighter but joe has proved himself a worthy top class coach, imo shane has still to do that, im sure time will tell

Joe's pad work isn't as good as Shane's
    Crolla just seems confused here

Recent videos of Ryan Burnett's pad work is top drawer :bbb lightening
