Very good thread. Didn't Max Kellerman say that Kirkland had an iron chin? The HBO hype/build up is so predictable.

Maybe Oscar revised his contract. Made him sign a "Haymon style" lock in where the promoter has veto power. :hey

You can write 10 essays about how you think Alvarez only fights smaller guys, but reality is, his win over Khan all alone is better and bigger than everything Golovkin has done as a professional. Sad and hilarious, isn't it?.

Stick to bragging about Golovkin's amateur career and his imaginary sparring victims.

Oscar vs Sturm was probably one of the worst decisions of that decade. Top 5 for sure.

Who's ****ting on the fight, I'm just being realistic, if you knew **** about Boxing then you would know the reality here, there's reason why no one is fighting GGG especially Canelo, he knows its an impossible insurmountable task for him, kind of like Khan going into the Canelo match, he's just trying to finally wrap his head around the fact that's he's going to be KO'd for the first time in his career and is trying to warm to the idea of taking his beating like a man.

And for the record this article isn't about the GGG match, its about what happens after a GGG match. He's really in a bind here, he doesn't want to move to MW because all of his advantages will disappear and no potential upcoming match at MW will be a cakewalk for the foreseeable future.

I agree what you said and have said the same in the past but the fight might happen now and will be huge

Would you give Canelo credit for taking the GGG fight if he does?

If he does take the fight he deserves huge credit

And what will you say when Canelo is lying laid out on his back in the middle of the ring after GGG steamrolls him? GGG will have conquered the man with that amazing resume with the greatest of ease. I guess that means he'll have one of the best wins in the sport won't it?

And then your sleazy ass will start harping on him moving up two divisions to face Kovalev because you want him to lose is the worst way, because for some strange reason the mere thought of him having some success infuriates you.:think

No doubt he'll deserve a ton of credit for it, because its almost a no win situation for him, a proverbial suicide mission, and yeah it'll be a huge match, but it doesn't change the fact that it won't be a hard match for GGG to win.

:hey we know that but since GGGs haters say canelos resumes is better than GGG i guess if GGG knocks him out easy they will look even more stupid:lol::lol:
