To be honest, Canelo actually did a good job in adjusting, feinting is what you're supposed to do against a faster or superior boxer because with feinting you are laying traps for a fighter you can't match your timing with. Canelo was missing badly with hooks Khan saw coming a mile away. And Canelo is actually getting better with the feints. So any good boxer would have gotten caught with those feints, it's basically fooling your opponent you're going to land one punch, but your just setting it up to land anither. That's why Khan lowered his guard because it started with a feint jab to the body that setup the right hand upstairs. It's the exact same maneuver Marquez used to knockdown Pacquiao the 1rst time in the 4th fight.
"no fighter in the world can outbox amir kahn" **loses point decision to lamont peterson lol** as much as people might say it was a "robbery" it was a close fight so even with the point deductions he must of still lost 4-5 rounds in that fight alone plus all the 10-8 rounds he loses when he gets put on his ****,, a fast jab is great but with no to little inside game , poor power and a poor ring IQ means theres plenty of styles where people could 'outbox him" Amir is like jackyll and Hyde with his quotes, sometimes you really want to root for him but he comes out with some rubbish and his ego far out weighs his talent and actual career
Out boxing is over rated, what matters is who won at the end of the fight. This girl needs to stfu. Anyone who can't take that one big shot to the face is a disgrace and should not set foot in the ring again. Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk
Don't know about that. He got caught with a big counter because of his lack of defense, that's being outboxed, at least for that moment.
Khan really does not help himself I've even been kind to him (that's a first for me) and then he starts all this delusional cobblers again "My stock has risen", "I want Cotto", "Nobody can outbox me", "I was winning until..." I am starting to think he really likes to be hated and ridiculed.
Super duper overrated and overhyped Amir Khan is quickly becoming one of my most disliked fighters ever. I hope he fights again so his China chin can be blasted out YET AGAIN. Probably is, no matter how badly knocked out he would be, his enormous ego would cause his big mouth to brag how (laughably) great he is AGAIN.
He is not that good of a boxer. He has fast hands, that's it. His power at 147 is nothing special, doesn't have good footwork, no inside game, he gasses later in the fight, doesn't adjust well, has a low boxing IQ, and has a chin that is abysmal. Other than that, he's not too bad, lol.
