Something has gone on in the past between Khan and Brook be it Brook getting the better of it in sparring or something else.

Because Khan seriously wants nothing to do with Brook which I cannot for the life of me understand why when according to Khan he is easy work. Then throw into the mix a title at 147, massive payday and overall bragging rights.

Khan knows deep down Brook has the beating of him.

But at catchweight there are no rules / mandatories it's stupid I disagree with the whole thing. Canelo or Oscar must have asked for it? I'm pretty sure Khan didn't say I want to fight Canelo.

So basically Im not really understand the question. Khan didn't earn it cos he's in a different weight division?

So, just to clarify, Khan is scared of Brook, so much so, that he goes up and fights THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD?

Go and get some fresh air, mate.

But losing to Canelo is no big deal, no one expected anything else. But his ego could not handle losing to Brook, which he clearly thinks is what would happen, otherwise he would have taken a big pay day and a world title if he thinks the fight is as easy as he says it is.

Khan deserves credit for getting in there with Canelo, whether he got banged out or not at least he has a set of ***** to take such a challenge... especially when so many fighters seem to shirk the big challenges for easier routes.

I don't think he's scared of Brook... there's two reasons I think he doesn't want to make the fight.

    1. He think's Brook is a tart and doesn't want to bank roll him giving him a career high pay day. Khan is a name in the states, Brook isn't - therefore Khan can get $$$ in the states as he attracts the big names, Brook doesn't have the same pull.

    2. IF he was to lose to Brook, his career takes a massive nose dive.

If I was Brook and Hearn, I'd pull out all the stops to make the Garcia fight. If he beats Garcia - in the states - it'll get his name out there and he'll have also beat the man who nailed Khan. He'll basically back Khan into a corner.

My take on why Khan doesn't give Kell a fight right now is...

    1) He flat-out doesn't like him (he clearly hates Eddie, so that might be the issue, not to mention Kell's mouthing off annoys him).

    2) The fight will always be there for him.

Amir can fight 2-4 more top names, earn serious money doing so, and the Kell fight will be there for a bunch of reason (1. Kell is likely to wait for Amir, 2. Eddie can't make a big fight for Kell, 3. It's a domestic grudge fight - late is better than never with those things).

Maidana is a BETTER pressure fighter than Porter. Garcia and Prescott were not pressure fighters, one was a boxer puncher the other a banger, and Khan beat Peterson if you forget the terrible scorecards and crooked point deductions.

Regardless, Peterson gave khan all kind of problems.

Porter is all wrong for Khan.

Peterson may of given Khan problems but Khan still won that fight even with the points deductions..

People now seem to think every decent puncher at 147 would ko Khan, fact is none of them would be 175-180 on fight night first off..

2nd off Khan at 147 is unbeaten and at this age 29, Khan will only fight the top guys, win or lose Khan got a 50/50 chance of beating anyone at 147..

Every fighter wants maximum payday for minimum risk, but it's getting ridiculous

I do think there is a genuine issue of Khan hating Brook to the point that he doesn't want to give him any kind of payday, even if it means sacrificing a payday himself

Khan hides behind this BS 'Big Names' speech everytime he gets interviewed. If Khan had no intention of fighting Brook why bother having those negotiations in the first place as they did before Khan announced he was fighting Canelo. Khan's logic is this, i lost to Canelo, but i dont care because he is a big name, but i will not fight Brook because he is not a big name, and i couldn't handle taking a loss against him especially in my home country.

Let's say ars*nal qualify for the Champions League and limp into the final but end up losing several players for the final due to injury and suspension and have to play kids. In the other semi are Barcelona and Spurs (all very unlikely I appreciate). Who would Ars*nal rather play? Spurs who are blowing everyone away or Barcelona who are a star studded team.

Everyone will have a different answer to this, depending on your personality, risk adversity etc. Ars*nal (Amir) picked Barcelona, which is a much better option aiming for gold than the shame of losing to Spurs in a major final.
