Because there's not much of a gap in physical size, but there is in class and power. Golovkin is much better as the 155 pretender.

Floyd is too small and too old to be fighting this MW monster. I would give GGG the edge in that fight. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Floyd outboxed him.

But, if GGG would move down for Floyd, he can move down for Canelo. If he can move up for Chavez Jr. or Froch, he could've moved up Ward.

When GGG moves up to 175 and fights guys like Kovalev, Ward Stevenson and Beterbiev he will have done something until then he can't be mentioned in the same breath as PBF.hi:
