As weak as it seems there's a ton of hard to call matches.

    I missed this earlier.

I'll try to explain it to you to make the US seem a little less crazy.

Most Americans are fully aware that Trump is playing a role, he's being bombastic and a loudmouth to keep his name in the media, constantly... and by doing that it actually shows what a brilliant business man he is, where as people like Hillary and all the Republicans robots that ran have all spent 10's of Millions of dollars thus far buying adds and campaigning, Trump has only spent around 900,000 dollars, and in this day and age its almost unheard of. He's also self funding, he's not taking money from big business and all of the other right wing contributors with deep pockets, therefore he's not beholden to anyone.

He's also strayed so far away from the right in some areas he's almost as left wing as Bernie Sanders, he hates Free Trade which is a very left wing almost anarchist position, he's not an interventionist, he wants us to keep our nose out of foreign conflicts that don't directly involve us, and he has cred in that department since he wrote an op-ed in the paper right after the Iraq War started coming out totally against it.

He's given a ****load of money to members of both parties but he's given more to the Democrats, which has made the GOP establishment distrust him totally, they hate that he's their candidate, they look at him as a Democratic usurper. And in many ways he is, he's pro Social Security and he doesn't really give a damn about social issues in general, he's a populist, he's appealing to the working class of America, something the Republican and Democratic parties stopped doing years ago. In fact they don't even refer to us at all, they won't say working class, they say the middle class, meanwhile a good portion of Americans black, white and Latino are all solidly poor working class.

Add to that this country has been stifled by political correctness, its gotten to the point where you can't say anything that isn't approved speech without some form of repercussion from the left and the right, for a guy like me that likes to speak his mind that is almost suffocating, so he's playing to that portion of the electorate as well.

He's made billions, he's a great negotiator, and he's also great at bull****ting his way into getting what he wants, so in a weird way that is just what this country needs, a masterful con man like Lyndon B. Johnson who knew how to manipulate the right and the left to finally get some s*** done. And that is the core of his appeal.

Also he's not anti-Latino or anti-woman that's more PC propaganda, I love Mexicans I love Mexican fighters, but there are Mexican gangs around where I live, many Mexicans are coming here and instead of getting jobs, they turn to the drug trade, and the Mexican drug cartels are especially violent, watch some clips on YT if you don't know about it, and that is the element he is mainly referring to. Not the ones who come here and get jobs and try to make an honest living. As far as women goes, the feminists make a huge deal about everything at this point, its just them making much ado about nothing once again, he's more pro women than Mitt Romney and John McCain combined.

Will I vote for him.....:think I have no idea. I'm sick of Hillary and I voted for Sanders in the primary, but I'm so ****ing sick of these assholes who do nothing but campaign to keep their power literally from the moment they get in office, and therefore they won't do anything to compromise their positions, the left play to the far left and the right play to the far right and nothing gets done. this country is in one hell of a bind and maybe a mad genius is what we need to pull us out of it.:conf

Glad I could clear it up.

There's a touch of Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pin in his rhetoric, but as I'm sure you can attest to, the political correctness in handling the problems with Islamic fundamentalists is stifling real debate and prevents an honest appraisal of their lack of any attempt of integration into our societies and their clear hatred of western values.

Granted a lot of his supporters are brain dead hillbillys who like him because he's playing to the lowest common denominator at times, that's what happens in this country, during the primaries candidates play to the base of the parties which tends to be the far left and far right. But Trump has been a pop culture figure over here for decades, since I was a kid, he's always appeared on talk shows because he's so damn opinionated and is more than willing to share his opinion with anyone who asks, he's always had this huge larger than life personality, he's almost like a Billionaire businessman version of Arnold Schwarzenegger, sure he's rough around the edges but most Americans have always had a soft spot for him.

Thankfully because of his public persona, most of us know where his heart lies, and the truth is he loves America and really wants to see people back at work and to get us back up on our feet again. One thing I think you'd like is he's very pro-Europe, his wife is Slovenian, and in a move that's not only enraged the right but the left as well, one of his main goals is to normalize relations with Russia and to bring us closer together, and obviously a closer relationship with Europe as well. He also thinks the US should back off and let Assad and Russia deal with ISIS and was fiercely against the US supporting the popular revolts that overthrew Quaddafi and Mybarak, because he knew exactly what would follow, as did I. So he's a hell of a lot more intelligent than he often presents himself to be, and definitely more than the media presents him to be.

Well let's hope I've been watching The Apprentice since its debut and he's been doing interviews on TV and appeared on the Howard Stern show which I listen to off and on for the last 25 to 30 years. He's kind of really well known here.

And for the record I've known about Bernie Sanders and been a supporter of his for well over a decade, I'm not some Johnny-Come-Lately like a lot of these college kids that just jumped on his bandwagon.:deal I'm very well versed in politics, maybe as well versed as I am in Boxing.

And yeah I'm leaning Trump. Which pains me, because the mere idea of voting red sickens me. But Trump is more blue than he is red so... it won't be quite as hard.

Probably not, also the idea of a 70 year old running with a 75 year old VP is not a good look. If she has two terms she'll be 78 and he'll be 83.:scaredas:
