    Now he was a L/mw who came & gave an in prime Hagler a very tough fight...so Alvarez v Mugabe at L/ mw ....

    Hagler was a bit past his best at that stage iii.

    But certainly prime Mugabe would be tough for Canelo to deal with - for sure.

    I can't see it being competitive, guys, canelo is a true elite fighter, the dude is as bad a mofo as they come.

    He's going to ****ing war hard with G, tough fight fir both, toughest fight i think can be made, because both can dish and take unreal amounts, certainly more on both sides than mugabe.

    I also feel any version of hagler is simply too slow and his lack of defense gets him broken down. He's lost during his prime to fighters that couldn't be ggg n canelos sparring partners, today.

    The way legends grow, gets hilarious. And way too many C level fighters from back in the day somehow beat A level fighters of today ....

    Mugabi was not a C level fighter, he was at least a solid B. He only lost against top-tier guys. He also had actual experience fighting at 160, the full middleweight limit.
