    I'm believing the 600k figure. There's no way he did the same with Khan at this point in his career than Lara & Angulo

    IT IS A FLOP

    GGG vs david full purses never even came above 5 mill for both fighters so they did 150,000 which was more then enough

    in this fight they were offering khan purses of 13 mill and canelo 20 mill plus and it was below 600,000

    for purses like that you need to hit at least 1 mill buys

    It was a mismatch, nobody honestly believed it was competitive, it was just being sold so they were always going to say "it's huge, it's a massive fight" to try and convince people to buy it.

    I'm not surprised it didn't do as well as the pre fight predictions, it was a selling strategy and I don't believe the people involved thought it would do huge numbers.

    But if they sold 600k of buys for a mismatch I think they have done very well.

    Boxing fans are a joke, but 600k beats 150k or 97k any day all day so what's the point of the OP? Dude can't think without ggg's **** in his mouth.

    HBO won't release the number so all the PPV numbers being spewed right now are just guesses.

    Insiders confirmed it was around 300k. GGG did half as much fighting a guy no one in boxing cares about while Canelo was fighting a huge star. Also, GGG PPV fight was in October, since then his value has risen dramatically, he's a household name now while Canelo isn't even popular in Mexico anymore because of his ducking and draining.

    GGG is clearly the A-side.

    The official numbers aren't out yet but anything over 500k+ and the fight was a success. 350-500k somewhat decent. anything below that a dissappointment.
