We (hard core boxing fans) can expect wonderfull and competitive match; both of them are more than excellent fighters...But there are so many threads in this forum about Canelo's weight and trash talking of Khan or Broner and almost nothing about this match - Crawford vs Postol. Very strange. What do you think ?

All of the Postol fans have gone silent after Crawford signed for the fight. They had plenty to say before Crawford signed.

Because of negative bias. We like bull**** more than actual boxing. People fake like they don't like theatrics and drama, but really we love it.ayweather had not fought in almost a year and they still talk about IVs
No one gave a **** about Pacquiaos fight with Bradley. Crawford vs Postol could be FOTY but we will just be here talking about Floyd,GGG and Canelo weight.

    This.

With that said I don't think this will be a walk in the park for Crawford Postol is a quality operator.

Love the fight, favor Crawford slightly in it, but it's going to be tricky to build the kind of buzz for this to be a PPV success since Bud's still growing his fanbase and Postol is a pretty new "name" on the scene. Neither is particularly flashy when it comes to building a persona for fans nationwide to buy in to (at least not yet).

Odd as it sounds, there's not alot to dislike about either fighter and they don't stir up much controversy, so it's easy for fans to not bring them up. We'll get more threads once that fight gets closer. :good

:good People may rag on WWE and pro wrestling, but boxing isn't terribly different when it comes to people buying into it at least as much for the story as what happens in the ring.

Postol-Crawford is two quality operators with a blue-collar, professional work ethic and attitude. The drama's not going to hit till the bell rings.

I think it might be because the fight is 3 months away, maybe.

There have been more threads about this fight, but not many posted in them.
It is what boxing should be, two top class fighters facing eachother at the normal weight, and no diva antics or other bulls__t.

Probably not much to discuss about the fight. I expect a close points win for Crawford due to home advantage against mini Wlad

Youtube and Twitter is your friend, no reason why you can't do a search and find the latest within 1 second. You'd see that they have been **** talking each other. It's curious that folks demand to be marketed to, that just means you could miss out depending on some mediocre marketing graduate and boxing marketing is about as bad as it gets. It's harder than it should be to get info on fights. Also it's said that there's huge crossover of fans of WWE and combat sports like Boxing, it makes sense.

Happy this fight is being made so soon, since I figured their promoters would want to build their brand some....

Postol has the obvious better resume with his win over Lucas, while Crawford beat a chinny, but worse, rusty Gamboa.

Neither were absolutely incredible in their big fights, but both seem to be a tier above the rest in their division, making this the obvious best fight at 140.

I do think though, making this a PPV, while neither has created the type of buzz to warrant it, is greed on the part of their promoters, and might backfire, particularly if it's a dull affair or one with no clear and decisive winner. :-(

There's been plenty of threads on it?

It's one of the most exciting fights of the year, a genuine 50/50 IMO although I think Postol edges it.

I give big credit to both fighters for getting it arranged with no bs. The winner will be the undisputed champ at 140.
