If somebody metions someone's name on twitter and the fight isn't made within 30 seconds of that tweet it's a duck.

Ward refused to fight Stevenson, even at 168! Ward refused to fight Kovalev, keeps on saying he needs one more fight, one more fight, ad infintum..............

Golovkin is trying to get his unification title fight for the WBC, vs. anyone, esp. Alvarez for huge money fight, then next he will fight Jacobs, he also wants Quillin and all the best 160 lb. fighters, then and only then will he even consider going up to 168. Why should Golovkin fight SOB Ward in Ward's home town, with Ward's personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc.? Ward is not a PPV fighter, he is not a huge draw...............

Alvarez vs. Khan did less that 600,000 PPV buys. Golovkin Vs. Alvarez is projected to sell well over 2,000,000 buys and I read that the PPV cost might be $100!!! I predicted that years ago right here on Eastside boxing forum

 

2,000,000 @ $100 a pop ? That's some serious poke right there .

 

All fine here in Wales thank you mate & yes Hagler was a fantastic fighter who done the hard yards BEFORE he became champ he had like 45 fights before a title shots if I remember correctly.
