It would be a close fight, I'm still not as sold on Hughie Fury as a lot of people on here seem to be. I think Whyte could KO Hughie & that's why his team aren't confident enough to take this fight. So much for him taking the difficult way to the top like he & his father keep preaching about....

You saw how many flush shot off AJ g took. He could walk fury down and bust him up

Would prefer seeing Whyte vs. Price.

A sick side of me would be itching for Whyte to lay Price out again, and hunt him down like a rabid dog.

Whyte vs. Hughie would most likely turn into a snooze fest

Hughie team has turned it down as they are highly ranked with the WBO and Peter Fury saying they are going up further in the near future. Personally id have picked Whyte in 6.

Shame it isn't happening, would have been a good measuring stick for both

Typical. How many fights is it now that Hughie has swerved? Anyone keeping score?

I don't particularly like either fighter, but it's safe to say that I think Whyte would win. I'm not sold on the Hughie hype at all and think Whyte is solid enough to beat him.

Looks like Hughie's movement out of the ring is quicker than his movement in it...quickest swerve in history.
Whyte by quick and brutal KO. Hughie doesn't have the power to keep Whyte off him and he knows it. Shame really, would have liked to see that fight.

I don't think that Hughie is well- looking at his last fight he was gassing a bit before the stoppage.

He should take some time off and sort any health issues. He's around/above British level already so there really is no rush.

I'm a fan of the furys, and hughie is only 21. and if its down to health issues then he needs to sort it.
HOWEVER...Hughies best win was nearly 18monthss ago against Rudenko, from then I think most of us assumed he would at least have a british title by now. Personally I think it would have been the best british heavyweight fight we'd have seen for a number of years, shame its not happening.

Fury didn't look good in his fight the other week. Not talking about the performance, which as a fight-fan I found dull, but just physical shape. He just didn't look solid, like he hadn't been eating right. Which I guess he isn't, given the 'allergies' that keep being mentioned.

They'll need to deliver a pretty good opponent next for fury, for them to turn down a fight with whyte for the british title is something, we shall see....

Whyte would be far too much for hughie at this point in time.
