There are still people that think Khan's chin isn't the problem!

How many times does this guy have to be KO'd?

How many times does he have to eat the canvas vs featherfisted opposition?

There are still people who despite all the evidence deny such OBVIOUS Glass Jaws!

Khan is the Alpha & Omega of Glass Jaws, he is the epitome of Glass Jaws, the Glass Jawed ****** is the biggest joke in boxing.

His chin wouldn't be such a problem if his defense/ring iq wasn't so bad. Can you imagine Floyd or even guys like Cotto letting themselves get hit with that haymaker? Khan took some very hard flush left hooks before the KO that would have knocked him out if his chin was as bad as people made out.

Sounds like Glass Jaw denial to me, Khan has hit the canvas vs featherfisted opposition like Limmond and Drilzane (4% ko ratio...yes you read that right). If he had a decent chin, he wouldn't have been on the floor as frequently as he has.

That anyone denies Khan has a glass jaw demonstrates that some boxing fans simply don't understand what poor punch resistance, even when they see it repeatedly.

If his chin was such a problem why is it only punchers who have stopped him?

    D.Garcia hits like a brick
    Canelo weighs 175 pounds

If his chin was so bad Peterson & Maidana would have stopped him with the shots they landed. Also the left hooks Canelo landed earlier in the fight would have stopped him.

His chin isn't great but it isn't the be all end all.

No level of chin would have saved him from Canelo.

Khan has a weak chin, but it's not the biggest problem. His biggest problems are a cluster of:

    1. Gameplan Problem
Amir tries to overwhelm his opponent with his speed and doesn't incrementally enact a gameplan. All of his cards are available for all to see. Hence why fighters who rely on timing always figure him out and clock him.

    2. Attention Deficit
Something changed in Khan from round 4 of the Canelo fight. His attention started to deteriorate, he was more-so going through the motions and not able to think on his feet as much. Khan becomes vulnerable, enters no mans land more often. Drops his hands.

    3. Style of Point-Scoring
In and out, but very predictable. Because of his speed, it worked so well for amateurs. He lacks a second dimension and lacks pro-style, rough quirks. He doesn't look as comfortable making use of dancing around the ring like a Mayweather, he looks far more rigid.

What Gannicus said. Worst chin in the history wouldn't take that left hook in the 2nd round without even whobbling from a guy two divisions above.

And that punch from Canelo would've probably KOd any welerweight, which is exactly why Canelo shouldn't be fighting welterweight.

That's nothing but speculation, you don't know that. All you know is that punch KO'd Khan and nothing else. The only actual evidence we have to go on is that Khan has hit the canvas vs light, featherfisted opposition such as Limmond, Gomez, Drilzane, Watson etc....that tells me he has a serious chin problem.

I agree with you on your points about Khan's weaknesses, but his biggest problem by far is his chin. If he had a decent beard, all the other points you just mentioned would be improved significantly.

People with good chins don't just crumble under shots like he does.

You can have a vulnerbale chin and still accomplish a lot in boxing, i.e Thomas Hearns. If you have a weak chin, you need to up your D game.

I agree you can disguise a Glass Jaw by having a good def, but while I think Hearns chin wasn't the best it is no where near in the same league as Khan's paper mache chin.

Maybe not, Hearns fought legends, but nevertheless you can have a weak chin and still accomplish a lot if you have a tight defense.

Khan's chin is bad, but he's exceptionally talented and if he had worked on blocking punches instead of absorbing them to the body he would not have been open for that perfect overhand right the canelo used to KTFO.

The KO came as a result of strategy more so than Khan having a weak chin. That punch would have KO pretty much anyone.

He belongs in the Chin of Shame with David Price. James Kirkland is up there too. Just an awful display of chin. The worst part though isn't his chin...it's his inability to admit it's his chin. And his ability to talk himself up like he's pound for pound when he has NO BUSINESS fighting anyone in the top ranks. He is the most delusional fighter I've witnessed in a long, long time.
