This Saturday is the fight I believe may be the Heavyweight WAR of the year. The IBF HW eliminator between Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker. I see a KO in the middle rounds for Parker.

    Your thoughts?

I'm nervous and excited for this one. I'm getting annoyed at kiwi casual fans here going "It'll be another easy knockout for Parker".

Takam has only been beaten once in a war with Povetkin and he looks like he's in the best shape of his life for this one, it's going to be the best Takam in this fight - it should be a hard night for both guys, probably as you said - has the potential to be the HW war of the year. I'm backing Parker for a decision or late KO.

Shame both guys aren't considered trendy options enough to be followed or respected as they could or should be, this is a MUCH more interesting fight than the likes of David Haye's latest fight etc. Bring on next weekend!

Parker is the betting favorite, but it will be a great fight however long it lasts. It really could go either way, but I expect Parker to win.............

Parker's speed will be too much. Mid-rounds KO.

Parker will lose, and we'll never hear from the scrub again.

Even if he were to lose it doesn't mean Parker's career at top level is over. Takam is a proven top heavy who is no push over for anyone.

Parker is young and clearly has talent, but he'd need to make changes to get the most of that talent. He could rebuild and come again should Takam beat him.

Both fighters are looking incredibly fit and cut. Good to see heavyweights fighting without the flab.

Promises to be a competitive and action packed fight. I am still undecided on Parker (have not watched him much) though...

My pick is Parker by late tko.I guess Parker wont go out with blazing guns and pounce on to Takam's corner like a mad man:D
I also think that Parker will have to take some good shots and that he will have to nail his true colours to
the mast showing his great talent when the chips are down and Takam gets the upper hand and he the short end of the stick. And yes,I guess and hope that Takam will make the water hot for Parker. He needs this kind of fight to be ready for bigger tasks.
The french based African Takam is a
brute of a problem but Parker will solve it.
Parker by late tko or ko with Takam having his moments.:bbb
