GGG vs CANELO is closer to 50/50 then most think.

canelo has faster hand speed? hmm.. i don't see anybody getting out of the way of golovkin punches.. he's setting ko records. is that because he fights bums and derelicts?

I used to have GGG aw a clear favorite but now with the fight getting close to done Ive thought it through and it might be a 60/40 fight. The bad thing of it is that Canelo has enough skill to make it a close fight that goes either way and has a good chin to make it the full 12 then we all know what happens. If he was ahead against Khan amd had a draw against Floyd in one card you can bet the judges cards are already filled.

What about the advantages in counter punching, footwork, head movement, massive power difference(you didn't add that), and chin that golovkin has over canelo? :think

Canelo is a superior counter puncher. In fact, Canelo's best style is counter punching.

Head movement clearly goes to Canelo, not only does he have good head movement but has superior waist movement also.

Footwork clearly goes to GGG. GGG cuts off the ring exceptionally well, unfortunately for his ring cutting skills they will not be in display as Canelo does not fight off the back foot and as previously mentioned is a counter puncher who waits for his opponents to come to him and is ready for the counter.

Chins, both have proven to have good chins with Canelo being the only one to have been in the ring with Grade A punchers while GGG still has a lot of unanswered questions, not just about his chin, but ability to take a punch to the body as well.

As far as the "massive" power difference? Not sure how well you can guage GGG's power when he hasn't fought A level opposition.

Cotto KTFO Geale in just a round more, and Cotto is a midget next to GGG
Rubio KTFO Lemieux sooner and better than GGG did
Jantuah KTFO Rubio in the first round

Not sure why you think KO bums all of a sudden equates to MASSIVE power DIFFERENCE. When GGG KO a fighter of Ward, Canelo, Lara, Trout, Cotto Calibre then we can asses his MASSIVE power DIFFERENCE.

It doesn't help at all. All fighters should just feast on overly matched bums and call it a career. Honestly now, I don't think you're serious with that nonsense.

Resume builds character and exposes a fighter's true capabilities. Who would've known that Amir Khan had poor punch resistance if he didn't step up the level of competition?. Who would've known that Ali had superior stamina, punch resistance, adaptability, ring generalship, exceptional leg movement and many more if it wasn't for top notch opposition?. Who would've known that Tyson really is a serious puncher with insane ferocity if it wasn't for resume?. Who would've known that Holyfield had insane heart and will if it wasn't for opponents that tested him?. And the examples are endless. Resume/top quality opposition bring out the best in fighters, and sometimes it brings out qualities that the fighters themselves didn't know they have until they were pressured and cornered into desperate situations that forced them to unleash it or risk defeat. Remember how Hopkins looked zombie slow against someone exceptionally fast as Calzaghe only to look fast against someone slow like Pavlik?. Right selection of opponents can bring out deceptive traits certain fighters don't actually have.

We know absolutely nothing about Golovkin so far other than punching power. His stamina, punch resistance, actual ability, skills, movement and many more are all questionable. Even his power is questionable because he hasn't really proved it against noteworthy opponents.

for as long as it lasts, it will be fight of the year. i think they are pretty evenly matched skillwise, but ggg power and size advantage will be too much for an equally skilled opponent... especially that power.
this fight should show who these 2 fighters really are, theres gonna be some hearts and chins tested. eventually, i expect canelos corner to throw in the towel in order to save him for his prime.
