My suggestion would be a fine for Povetkin and belt to not be on the line. If Povetkin wins title becomes vacant and he can fight next top contender for it.
This way Wilder still gets his career high payday which would be a shame to lose out on it after a full camp and no fault of his own.

 

Seems like there's a minimum threshold (at least from WADA) and Povetkin tested under that.

My guess is Wilder can probably hold out for some extra $$$ to go through with the event given the circumstances.

That is a common misconception, PED abuse was rampant in international sports, the only reason the Eastern hemisphere was accused of PED abuse is because of politics and cold war tensions, the west accused the east of PED abuse, yet their athletes were shoving steroid pills and needles up their wazoo in order to compete with the global competition.

 

Exactly. All those posters praise Holyfield, Toney, RJJ, know PED users in situations much worse than Povs.
