The operative word being promoter. He's paid to promote. He wouldn't be doing his job if he said anything else. So take what he says with a pinch of salt.

 

Same with the amount of nano-whatevers he is claiming was in Povetkin's system.

To my knowledge he hasn't released the actual test result. We have only his word on (a) whether Povetkin really quit taking this last fall and (b) how much was in his sample.

Nothing to back it up, not even the word of the fighter, who curiously hasn't held a press conference or even released a statement to proclaim his innocence.

Exactly. Everything is being done behind closed doors right now; I'm sure it's all being thrashed out as we speak. The fact no announcement has been made, means it's clearly not as cut and dry as either side would like to claim. The sooner they come out and make a statement the better.
