Why is some boxing fan so anxious to see a GGG beat a smaller Canelo ? I mean lets really look at this, this fight is a no-brainer. The Physical advantages that GGG has over Canelo alone is ridiculous ! and Canelo does not have the skill, speed, experience, or ring savvy to overcome the physical disadvantages he will be facing if he fights GGG. If this fight happens, I will be surprised if the fight goes past 5 round.
ggg is getting old. if ggg can get canelo, ward, and kovalev and beat them before he retires then we will have another atg.
No he does not ! Canelo's fight wight is 154, just because he blows up 10 to 15 lb in water weight does not equate to the solid 165 to 170 of GGG. Weight is not the equalizer in determining size !
Is ggg ever gunna have trouble making weight? If not then stay there guys usually move up cuz they struggle to make weight Unless u wanna challenge yourself n move up for hell of it
Nope only your idiot response! Cotto fought at middle weight and anyone with half a boxing brain knows he had no business at that weight. Canelo is no bigger then Cotto body wise. If it make you feel better you can classify both Cotto and Canelo as small middle weights !
To answer you question, No GGG will not have any issue making the mandatory Middle weight limit, losing 5 to 10lb in two months should be little challenge for an active fighter. Not making weight is not the only motivation fighter have for move up in weight class. There are other motivations such as money, exposure, and lack of competitive in the current devision, which can all circle back to money. GGG is in a situation where there in nothing left competition wise at 160 and anyone buying a ticket thinking that Canelo will be any kind of challenge 160 for GGG is a moron! Canelo has beat 0 competition at 160 and beating another 154 lb in Cotto at 160 hardly counts as beating a live competitor 160!
It's a unification fight between two of the top middleweights in the world. They are the same weight, one of them has slight height and reach advantage. One of them is the top draw in boxing, is the lineal middleweight champion and has fought more notable opposition. The other is an absolute terror knocking the living **** out of everybody willing to get in the ring with him so far, has unified two of the belts, but is missing a real big name on his resume. Who doesn't want to see this fight?? Of course I want to see this fight!! It's a great match up and a huge event for boxing!!
Exactly. And degenerates like you get a chance to go to the local pub...get drunk and wack off after you get home. ****en loser
I'm married, but some times I'm too tired for *** so after an amazing night like that you may be right. The only thing is... Why would I wait until I got home??
Of these two fighters ,One has fought his entire career at 147 and 154 and has never competed at 160, and the reason he even owns the title of lineal Middleweight champion is purely coincidental! Harsh but true! Top draw notable opponents ? Opponent is more likely ! Everyone else was pretty much padding! This fights is not even the slightest competitive by no means ! There is only one fighter between these two who is really in danger and it ant GGG ! This is a guarantee win for GGG! if he choose he can entertain his fan by Prolonging the punishment he will be dishing on Canelo.
I don't know man, I watch Canelo fights then I watch GGG fights and I can tell you one thing...Canelo will be more skilled than anyone G has fought so far. You might be right though because Golovkin has been knocking the snot out of bigger, stronger guys than the opponents Canelo has been fighting. I don't think it would SHOCK anybody if it became obvious pretty early that G is too much for Saul. On the other hand, Curtis Stevens gave Gennady a helluva s**** for quite a while before he was overcome. Isn't Alvarez a full level better than Stevens?? I want to see this fight!!
