    I don't. 50's onwards is when PED's became widespread and before last decade, especially a few decades prior, were largely untested, or extremely poorly tested. Training was also more focussed on quality rather than warped and disturbed by weight cutting.

    I annihilated you on this subject in the general. You shut up shop and disappeared. Now you're back again starting over , which tells me you're a troll.
    I ain't paying the troll toll on a Saturday night while i enjoy my drink.

    Exactly. They looked absolutely poor and there's no way any reasonable person would deny that. I say that as a major fan of old timers, and thinks only one modern fighter reached the echelons of success since Ray Leonard and Duran...Pacquiao.

    Well , i don't know much about LW from the 1910/1920s but i'd hazzard a guess the likes of Crolla and Flanagan would have their hand full.

    Borrosso - the supposed bogey man wasn't good enough to last more than 5 rounds in a fight he was winning. Guys back then simply did not gas out after 5 rounds while losing , never mind while on top.
    And they had none of the money , facilities 'modern training methods' at Borrosa's disposal.

    That's not what athleticism means at all. :-(

    I'm with you to some extent but in fairness, boxing in the later stages of the "black&white days" looked much, much better than this.

    it's not an actual fight. if i put up a clip of a modern boxer(who is shot and has tb) in a pro wrestling bout it would mean as much as that film.

    edit, dixon wasn't likely to be good tho, the first generation of gloved fighters were trained by bareknuckle guys.

    Yes it is Krusty.
    The athleticism of boxing is endurance , stamina and work rate.

    @slavic fighter

    For you to put Rigo and 3G and miss out so many more means you need to look at way more footage of the sport. At MW and SMW during the early 90s you had so many class fighters along with your #1 Roy Jones.
    Seriously do some homework

    Lol It's rossco btw. I got perma banned. I used to love your trolling over on chb. I'm sure it was you who said loma transition offence/defence better than Duran lol Loma is seriously skilled though.
