Who knows all I'm saying is if the amount reported, if true seems to be a minimum level of this stuff which was legal until January. I don't think this will be viewed as harsh as a anabolic steroid. Many experts claim this medicine gives no athletic advantage. Not making an excuse for Povetkin just reporting what facts I have seen.

 

The level is so low and it's not like this is some legit performance enhancer, especially at these minute levels. I'm not saying Povetkin is innocent or that what happened is right, I'm just saying the fight should go on as scheduled.

Of course, I am biased though because as a boxing fan I really don't want the event to be cancelled.

ESPN is reporting that they have attained several reports stating that Povetkin used the substance after it was banned. It looks as though this fight may be called off as soon as tommorow. We'll see what happens next.

It probably will, because even if the reason is that they used different tests or levels of sensitivity within the test, there'll be no way to prove it for Povetkin.

 

I read where the fight will be cancelled tomorrow and that Wilder now wants the fight in America...under VADA. They said that Wilder's people advised him to fight the man when he has "no traces" of anything in his system.

 

If it's cancelled, Wilder should move on to somebody else, preferably Joseph Parker. This already has been enough of a waste of time.

 

Wilder wants either Joshua or the winner of Wlad Fury.

 

I agree. Povetkin had his chance and he blew it. Wilder should move past that now and face the next boxer in line for a shot.
