I know it is very overstated. Just joking about it though.

I would've lost respect for Wilder if he used this as an excuse to drop the fight.

Povetkin was under the limit. This isn't worth canceling the fight.

I'm terrified Wilder might get tricked into eating/drinking something like Browne though.

    I've always liked Wilder.

Good on him that he gives the fans what they want to see.

thats understandable. but now its a little different because the meldonium helped him improve his stamina and this could ruin the fight with wilder:verysad

They don't have a lower limit to be nice. They have a lower limit because they've deemed it doesn't affect performance and/or it can be reached without intent.

Wilder has proved a ton of people wrong with the way this has unfolded -- so many people claimed he'd find a way out of this fight at multiple points even before it got signed. Now he's in Russia looking to fight a guy who has just tested positive for a banned substance (regardless of what the drug is or how much of it remains in the other guy's system).

I've never had anything against Sasha and think this match up definitely favors him (especially now :smoke) but I've gotta pull for Wilder to get this victory. If Povetkin does knock Deontay into next week, his "victory" is as tainted as a Vegas hooker's putrid snatch.

It wouldn't be in his system if it didn't give him an advantage.:deal

Maybe it had dissipated and was at a higher level a few days before, regardless, he wouldn't have risked taking it and potentially getting caught if it didn't give him a slight edge in some way. Clearly he's taken it in the past, so he probably knows the effects on his body more than most of us do.

Well he's in a no lose situation now. If he loses he and his fans will just attribute to Povetkin being a drugs cheat.

People don't like him because he took one of the easiest route to a world title in heavyweight boxing history, seeming very reluctant to take on any real challenges whilst having a history of violence against women and the mentally ill.

Personally I think he's been carefully managed and there to be exposed. Happy to be wrong though as I'm more interested in finding out either way. The suspense is what's bothering me.

He's already taken the fLolight bro. That he still wants the show to go on in this day and age of usi,g every excuse to get out of a fight shows some grit. Win, or lose (in picking Povtkin but rooting Wilder) this is good for boxing and Deontay no matter what the result.

So what's the difference between any other paper champ at any weight?? Fury is now the lineal heavyweight champion of the world, what path did he take? Blame the orgs and promoters, not the figher.
