there are lots of laws/rules surrounding us in our everyday lives that we consider wrong or unfair...but still we have to accept them...

 

What isn't known however is whether they used different sensitivities of testing which could or could not have detected it in previous tests of not. Also keep in mind that it is the equivalent of creatine and was used for literally probably decades by athletes over there. If creatine or something similar was banned over the span of 4 months (another issue entirely) how many would bodybuilders still would have trace elements showing up? Probably alot. The people who got caught and banned for meldonium usually had large amounts showing a clear and distinct attempt to cheat. Maybe he was, or wasnt. I don't know. What I do know is that it doesn't look like it judging by the scant amount found. Who knows though? If he was, or admits it, eff him.

 

Povetkin is a ped cheat and we should not be giving him room to have excuses. At his age he's looking at a lengthy suspension, no payday, critical loss of reputation, in other words he ****ed up big time.

 

What is certain is that it is banned since Jan 1, 2016. It was OK to take it before that. It is also certain that it is unclear how long it stays in the system. So it is unclear at this point if Povetkin is guilty of any wrongdoing.

If it is not a fair rule, I will always oppose it. If we start obeying the unfair things, we don't deserve to live. It is a mentality of a slave. I cannot accept that.
