Once again, he's under the limit. A microscopic trace was found. Courts will surely decide on this.

I believe there is no actual limit and the one notice by WADA is if you were caught before the deadline, meaning you didn't know and got popped before the deadline. Povetkin's positive is after the deadline for amnesty, for lack of a better word.

Doing a low fat high carb diet does the exact same thing as you just listed. So should we ban lifestyles as well?

The "limit" was an amnesty for tests BEFORE MARCH 1.

Does not apply, and Povetkin's team knows this.

Some people are being really naive.
Why would a finely tuned athlete even need heart medication? World class athletes already have hearts that are functioning much better than most of the general population. If you are a world class athlete with genuine blood flow problems, you are NOT a world class athlete.
It's very obvious that athletes are using this as a performance enhancer. The sport banned it, and anyone who continued to use it after its ban, is a cheater.

(Every athlete is cheating though. Can't be world class in this day and age without PEDs)

Povetkin thought that they wouldn't detect it.

It was added to the banned substance list in September 2015. It does what EPO does in a way but a bogus heart excuse gives you a pass.

Regardless of what other experts say, I believe meldonium is a powerful PED w/ notable stamina & endurance gains

It allowed Povetkin to exercise more. That's how he was able to cut fat and replace it with muscle in a relatively short time.
