It wasn't called off, that's the nub. Wilder and his fraud squad walked out.

He cheated, but that doesn't bother me. 100% of elite boxers are PED cheats or weight cheats, or hand wrap cheats, or some other kind. What was ****ed up was how he lied about it, went after Pacquiao talking about how he wanted to clean up the sport, and then wouldn't fight him for five years until Pac was a shadow of his former self. I couldn't care less about the IV part of the equation. It's just one more **** move in a career filled with **** moves.

Am I disappointed in Povetkin? Yes. But I think that the fight should be postponed for a month or so until he can pass whatever tests VADA wants to throw at him, and in the meantime he should pay Wilder a portion of his purse as compensation.

I also don't know enough about medicine to know if Povetkin actually did anything wrong or if it's another Tony Thompson type fiasco of an old man taking his heart medication. I take the **** Thompson took so I don't die and it doesn't give me super powers. Although, Povetkin is younger and from an ethnicity that doesn't suffer as much from heart disease so he's automatically more suspect. With Mayweather's IV scandal it was over the top and obvious. There wasn't any room for doubt.

Should we make a distinction between little cheaters and big cheaters? I don't know where to draw the line. I just really wanted to see this fight and so I was hoping that Povetkin would get off with a fine and a postponement. I'm also a little ****ed at VADA for not catching it sooner if he'd been tested before. Calling this **** off the week before is not cool.

It's no surprise that you're a mentally incapable loser, but allow me to remind your limited mindset that being caught cheating remains to be illegal today, tomorrow and hopefully forever. Try not to forget that without hurting your pathetic self in the process.

Would someone like to explain how this substance got into his bloodstream in the first place? And please, save the "he used it before it was banned" excuse...

I still don't understand why he failed the test if he was within the allowance, shouldn't he have been cleared? This whole situation stinks because there's not enough clarification from VADA..

Isn't an athlete required to disclose use of a banned substance?

Looks like VADA blinked and gave Fraud Squad what they thought was enough excuse to walk away. I would say Wilder had no right to walk and the fight goes on, be it this weekend or rescheduled. Sadly for him Povetkin is on sold legal ground.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the allowance was only a temporary measure with a cut off date of March 1?
