Team Wilder seems all to happy and quick to break this off for good don't they? They will make pleads to the WBC to revoke Povetkin's mandatory status, mark my words.

It's close to stripping for me. Unless it's written in the contract they can get away with this unilateral cancellation. VADA did not recommend a cancellation. Bottom line.

Ryabinski needs to sue team Wilder asap as they keep talking about cancellation, damaging the promoters investment. He won a purse bid and paid the WBC 10% into escrow.

The WBC shouldnt of postponed it if theres half a chance Povetkin was guna squeeze through this whole tests thing. Should of told team Wilder to stay in Europe and be of the impression nothing had changed. Its still only Monday. This whole story has had about 8 twists already in the couple of days since the news broke.

I see it as the WBC have jumped the gun. If they announce that they have postponed the fight then obviously Wilder is guna pack up and go home. These things are not rearranged for the following day. So everything will have to be properly recheduled, we are talking a matter of months.

Team Wilder never ever wanted this fight and if given the chance will get out of it. They are on the bum run. Poor Wilder though believes in himelf more than his team do. I think while team Wilder would of even considered dropping the belt to avoid this fight they knew Deonaty wouldnt so thats why they resigned themselves to having to face the mandatory and cuz he doesnt make them alot and they are skint they were never even guna try at purse bids.

But team Povetkin and, or, the WBC have dropped the ball here not team Wilder.

I guarantee you team Wilder will block off any attempts for Povetkin to try to enfore his mandatory. They will argue Povetkin is not mandatory anymore "because he cheated" LOL

If Povetkin was caught taking illegal substances then they have every right to do so. I see a lot of the mentally ill losers here complaining like taking illegal substances is all of a sudden normal.

What on earth is wrong with some of you guys? He tested positive. It is a combat sport that can result in death. I understand that you may not have compassion for your fellow man, but this isn't tennis. He's a cheater.
Get over it, Wilder IS NOT in the wrong.

Once again for the benefit of those knucklehead Wilder lovers, Povetkin did NOT fail any test. Good luck trying to fight somebody else with 0.7 nano grams of Meldonium as your court evidence.

The outrage from some of the Povetkin apologists is absolutely mind boggling!

The fact that nearly 30% of the people pinned the blame on Wilder for Povetkin's positive test already speaks VOLUMES. Lots of morons on this forum. Lots of em.

He didn't fail the test, MORON. I'll offer you a permanent ban bet that Wilder's next fight is Povetkin or he gets stripped.

    Yes or no, pal?

Yeah and that's why it was cancelled.

The fact of the matter is - It's now cancelled, PEDVEDKIN will be scrutinized until the ends of time. Wilder will be going a new route.

THAT is something you will have to deal with. :deal
