    "Canelo has better D" LOL

Golovkin has an amateur record of 395-5. You don't get to have such a record without not great but flawless defense.

GGG more or less throws one blow at a time, Canelo is much better Combo puncher. He often throws combos

GGG by nature is a come forward fighter
Canelo by nature a counter puncher

It means a lot. Why do you think promoters immediately sign olympic medalists?

Nothing against Canelo, but this is a mismatch. There's nothing he does better than Golovkin, except for cutting massive weight, if that's something to praise.

Golovkin's only advanatges are the ilusion that he punches harder, and his ability to cut the ring off.

Against a counter puncher who excels when his opponents come to him such as Canelo, GGGs ring cutting skills won't play a big factor is any at all in the outcome of the fight.

In the last few weeks I've watched some of GGGs most recent fights and there is no way he has better defense. GGG leaves himself wide open in just about every fight. Curtis tagges him, Monroe stunned him, Degeale got to him etc...

Canelo on the other hand has versatile defense, he knows how to use his head and waist, he parrys very well, and seems to have much better reflexes.

The only shot Canelo has is to transform into a "Lara" and run to the end of the 12th round so Oscar's judges can rob Golovkin.:rofl

Flawless? hahahaha... I suggest you watch some of GGGs fights against overmatched bums and watch them at times Tee-Off on GGG. Lucky for Golovkin they are just bums. :deal

You mean his knockout streak? You don't even know what you're watching then. You don't need a tight defense if you can just walk down your opponent. He can switch to boxing whenever he needs to as he did vs Lemieux early on until he broke him down where David pretty much landed nothing at all. I suggest you watch some amateur boxing. If you did, you'd know someone with a 395-5 record wouldn't be able to have it without flawless defense. The only other guys with such records is Rigondeaux, Lomachenko and Ward atm. If that doesn't tell you something, nothing will.

Not really, despite me getting a kick out of getting under the Golovstans skin, I really think this is a 51/49 fight with Canelo having the slight edge in most areas.

If Canelo loses I will simply give credit to GGG, as I have always known he is also a special fighter like Canelo is.

The difference between us is that I'm a fan of boxing first, and it seems you're a fan of a man first.

I use to be abig GGG fan, but slowly started getting tired of the Bum of the month chirade.
