poor triple G, with that clown who owns the WBO belt turning down a career-high payday, who does he have left the fight? Danny Jacobs is probably the only one that comes to mind.

That mustbe because ggg brings the same ammo as lemmes last opponent.. wait, they have nothing in common and i mean nothing.

Ggg would have to try to fight at such a low level and still have to take a dive to actually lose

If Canelo avoids Golovkin now and fights anybody else at middleweight he is officially a coward. It really is that simple, nobody can give him a pass.

Also I hope he disowned by his country.

We were told Monday by a source with knowledge of the situation that possible interim fights before the Canelo-GGG super fight were being discussed. Now we’re hearing from another credible source that the topic of interim fights before the big middleweight unification showdown hasn’t been discussed. In any event, Canelo-GGG is already the most anticipated fight in boxing, so let’s hope the fight is made as soon as possible.

This is a very smart move especially if the fights are at 160 because Canelo at least needs one or 2 fights at 160 since he has NEVER fought there.

Actually, either guy at 160 would be a great test.

Why should canelos first real middle weight fight be against GGG. Is that really fair?

GGG only agrees to this if they can lure BJS into a unification fight in the fall, or land Jacobs- the combination of that and Canelo vs Lemieux or Stevens would make Canelo-GGG bigger.

Without either of those for himself, there's no real reason for him not to press for the Canelo fight this fall.

Plus Lemieux was what, 22? An age at which most boxers fight cab drivers.

Yep, he was basically an inexperienced little kid. And no he hadn't faced the type of competition Canelo had by that age, because he only turned pro at 18 and not 15 like Saul. David was a 4 year pro when he faced Rubio, Canelo had been a pro 5 years before facing Tyner Way too big of a quantum leap from guys like Camacho Jr. and Ayala.
