I'm not a fan, but I have to admit he did nothing wrong in this: - I said he will duck Povetkin, he didn't - I said he's happy the fight is off, but most likely he isn't as he loses out on career-high guaranteed $4-5 million payday The reality is Wilder comes home now with unpaid expenses and no fight lined up, plus a couple months of inactivity. I will once again criticize him if he fights one his trademark bum opponents next, but for the time being he deserves some respect. He did all what he was supposed to do and he was being let down by Povetkin. Sorry Deontay.
I was hoping for some trollage, but alas. Yeah, Wilder is the guy in the right. But he still has a glass jaw
Yup gotta say unfortunately Wilder is in the right here, Povetkin is a cheater and needs to be treated accordingly.
The time will come when Wilder announces his next opponent, some random top 75-100 guy we've never heard of before :yep
That is up for discussion and I know we all have our opinions, but what is def. true is none of this is Wilder's fault. This whole mess does not reflect good on Povetkin, but also VADA + the WBC do not look very good here I have to say. It seems they weren't well prepared for this and didn't know how to handle this very well. Up to right now the situation is STILL unclear. One would wish the WBC would take a lead here and clarify how this will work out but nothing so far. It's great to have random drug testing, but the procedures, rules and consequences should be clear to all of us up front. And not bargained with behind closed doors.
I agree with the fact he didn't duck Povetkin, but he's very happy to go back to fighting the Sconiers' of the world
Nobody's perfect. I've been wrong time and time again. Wilder missing out on 4-5mil bucks is a ridiculous and unexpected loss to him. There is no way would be happy about that.
