Im sure Deonatys team still are very happy that things have turned out like they have. I bet the WBC are too. They wont want that belt of thiers being owned by Russia, they have only just got it back off Germany. I do like Wilder but i do think he really has dodged a bullet here. Good post, and all in all, I agree with your OP. It's not Wilder's fault, it's the WBC's and to a small extent, Potvetkins. He should have petitioned the WBC for an exception on the meldonium, providing it was under the illegal levels. Should have been in the contract. WBC should have presented the FACTS to Wilder and allowed him the CHOICE of waiting or moving on, while allowing Potvetkin interim non-WBC ranked fights. :rofl
