Frank - "Sky said no to Crolla/Flanagan 50/50"

Speaking on the Ringcast boxing show on Talk2MeRadio, promoter Frank ****** said Eddie Hearn turned down the chance to organise a fight between Anthony Crolla and Terry Flanagan. ****** said he offered Hearn the chance to screen the fight on Sky as part of a 50-50 promotion, but that Eddie came back and told him that Barney Francis from Sky had refused to do it. Frank said he didn't believe Barney would have turned down the fight, but that if he did "he should be ashamed of himself".

And so he should be if it is true.
Cant understand why sky would turn it down. Hearn i can understand buf dont ser a valid reason for sky.

 

And people say sky, barney and Eddie can do no wrong. No fights made the fans want to see. Boxnation fighters have been on sky before....let crolla go fight lineras and get beat....nowhere to go after that.

 

Speaking with Frank, he made it clear that he's willing to play by Sky and Eddies rules to make this fight happen. The only things he's asked for are no tickets to be given to stub hub and for e everything to be 50/50.

Both snakes in their own right but Warden does nothing that doesn't benefit him so don't listen to all the smelly stuff getting bounded about.

 

Crolla can make nearly as much with an easy defence as he can risking his title against Flanagan. Flanagan doesn't exactly bring thousands of fans. 50/50 is too good a deal for Hearn to offer Flanagan in this fight sorry to say.

 

Frank ****** threatened a lawsuit against eddie hearn as hearn has been speaking to Flanagan manager.

Im sick of hearing *******s like this. Crolla only filled a third of the MEN. A difference in size of fanbase should not prevent a fight between two lightweight champions from the same city going ahead. Its an excuse and gallaghers bottled it!

 

The fighters need to stand up and make it happen...sky fighters are just been used to fill ajs **** cards

 

As fans what better fight is their in the lightweight division than flanagan vs crolla? And if you can think of one I'd like to hear a good reason why

 

Exactly....I love the boxing game.....but people should demand this fight.....sky having it way too easy....I mean people are actually going to buy Joshua ppv against another knock over with groves v Murray on the undercard. Wow unreal.
