    The chances of Canelo taking a Stevens fight are slim to none. There's no money in it.

    Lemieux would easily sell more PPV's than Stevens. On top of that lemieux is a GBP fighter while Stevens is not. Lemieux has also expressed interest in a Canelo fight.

    If Golovkin is such a hype job, ducker and leading member of bum of the month club why does Canelo need to get used to 160 beat him?

    Canelo has been fighting at 155, it's not a huge jump to beat a hype job is it?

    Imo, im down with Canelo getting some fights in with some middleweight but that shouldn't excuse him from not fighting his mandatory. It's the rules.

    If he truly wanted to fight some middleweight to get used to middleweight division, then he should've fought a middleweight on may7th, not amir khan, a welterweight.

    Hit the nail on the head. It's also no coincidence that a lot of the people who support Wilder also support Canelo. They find more joy in seeing who they hate fail than seeing who they like succeed. These people aren't true boxing fans.

    There's zero reason for fans on either side of Canelo/GGG and Wilder/Povektin to be happy about a fight not taking place.

    There's another underlying motive for why GGG bashers are happy Canelo is ducking him, because deep in their hearts they know Canelo will lose and most likely by brutal KO, which will not only boost GGG's often ridiculed resume, but also the way he'll win will make Floyd's points victory over Canelo pale in comparison, therefore all GGG fans will be able to gloat, our guy beat Canelo better than Floyd Mayweather Jr. did.:deal

    Anything that makes Floyd look bad, is a no go in their quasi-psychotic spin doctor propaganda war.

    Wont happen. If they're fighting someone before GGG, it's going to against someone who they know 100% he will win against. Curtis/Lemieux aren't guarantees.

    Let those two dudes fight each other.

    I don't know you ask GGG? The fight could have been made had he taken Canelo up on his offer of 155 instead we have to wait for Canelo to get used to 160.

    Canelo would KO those two guys out, are you kidding me? They are not on Cotto, Lara, Trout level. No way Canelo loses to C level and B level guys. Way underrating Canelo.

    Dead on accurate. The underlying agendas from these 'fans' is ****ing absurd these days.

    Canelo was getting beaten 4 rounds to 0 by the smaller, limited Khan. Floyd fans had it scored 4-0 to Canelo hahaha.
