I caught the end of the first heavyweight fight, which seemed like a bit of a dud. But the rest of the card was great. Just pure fighting.

All in all, a very good show for a Tuesday night.

I've been watching boxing more than forty years and never seen this kind of punch. I can't believe....

 

Cant say i like to see any boxer be knocked out but Jordan's dad Dennis used to post on boxrec and came across as a bit full of himself. He disappeared after the Thomas fight

He used to say stuff like like ' Jordan's ahead of usyk in the rankings, we will give usyk a shot at the title when he works he's way up' and ridiculous nonsense like that.

Never heard from after the Thomas fight, doubt we will ever see him post again

 

The feint and the punch were good, but it was Shimmell sticking out his chin (in Khan's manner) which made the punch so effective.

 

What do you mean by real American? White American?

 

Maybe, you are right, but I've never seen Gassiev before. Still I think that noone active HW could take this punch.
