Folks I am requesting a chin ****ysis on these two fighters. I have only seen recent bought from both these two so want to know from knowledgeable supporters what your chin rating is from both of them, how big a factor do you think chins will play in this fight, what knockdowns either have suffered pro and ams, how likely is this fight to end in a KO?

In my mind this is one of the most exciting fights of the year and want to do my research before making a be because as you know in boxing, chins matter!

Postol took matthysse's best shots so I'd say his chin is better

Postol with the edge. He got dropped or wobbled by Aydin (forgot the specifics), but Matthysse did nothing to him.

Crawford got badly hurt by tiny Gamboa.

    Put up or shut up

    All in on crawford.
Patients, skill, and timing gonna be the deciding factor.

This is gonna be a dull chess match. I don't expect chins to be a big factor.

If you have ever been in a fight or 2 you can tell the difference between someone who has skill or someone who just swing for the fences.

They are both professional fighters and punch resistance can only be determine if they were dropped by the same punch more than 2 times ie Khan and right overhands/hooks.

Both are young and prime but Crawford has more knockouts on his record than Postol, but to counter that Rios had more knockouts than Bradley and got stopped. Ali had more knockouts than Vargas and got stopped. So pointless thread until the fight starts.:hi:

At the top level, how many times has ones chin been the actual deciding factor ? At the top level you're not supposed to be getting clipped left and right.

The best chin is a hidden quantity

Edge to Postol. Both men have been hurt but Crawford has been hurt by weaker punchers, more frequently I believe. But I don't believe their chins will play much role in this fight, neither man is a big puncher.

"Tiny" by who's standards? That's like saying a guy 15 lbs lighter than you can't hurt you. Any punch can do damage depending on the nature it landed.
