Canelo is vacating the belt

Canelo knows deep down it's a beating he just doesn't want at his young age.

 

Canelo had his two-fight deal and selected to fight a chinny welter instead of a decent MW. Golovkin will probably move up in a couple years, so Canelo may be out of luck.

However, I don't believe these rumors and think that they will have a deal. Somebody speaks for Canelo, but the gingerhead may tell them who the boss is.

Now Canelo can enforce the Catchweight. If Golovkin wants that big payday, he will now be forced to fight below 160 or move on.
