All this chat over the last week about how Canelo is this, Canelo is that. All he has proved since the Khan fight is that his actions speak much louder than his words.

ODLH wants no part of GGG.

First it was - Canelo - "Any place, any time"
Then it was told - "You must face GGG to retain the belt"
Then it was - ODLH - "We will let the fight marinate"
Then it was - "We will drop the belt..."
Now it is - "We will drop the belt and fight at 155 in the future..."

Its funny, because ODLH sees Canelo as the A-Side in 2016 and wants to wait until 2017 to get a fight at a catchweight (of course...).

BUT

How does he possibly expect that to happen at the rate that GGG's stock is rising?

1. In a years time, Canelo will not be the a-side. As GGG's International recognition is sky rocketing. Question that if you like (as you will) but I have just travelled from NZ, to LA, to Vegas, to NSW and back to Auckland NZ.

At each stop I trained at renowned gyms. All of which were in the moment for Khan/Canelo - (Joes in NSW, Mayweather gym in Vegas, Wildcard in Hollywood) All of which had GGG as a heavy favourite against Canelo. You do the maths...3 very different parts of the world.

Even Floyd Snr who doesn't like GGG was saying that Canelo should keep away from him! He said he had put himself in a vulnerable spot as he has no where to go. Hes put himself in the light after beating an easy opponent from a lighter division, now the world will expect him to fight the boogey man. And he is dead right.

2. How does ODLH keep Canelo from being beaten if he is going to 'match' him up against an elite Middleweight?

3. When Canelo becomes the B-side, this fight has even less likeliness to eventuate. The money wont be on his side, the fans wont be on his side and the negotiations wont be on his side.

I don't care I'm not a canelo fan dummy. I don't like it when a fighter who hasn't paid his dues thinks he runs something and thinks he's better than everyone. That's ggg everyone else has to pay dues but he doesn't. Canelo was dictated to Hopkins was dictated to Hatton was dictated to pac was dictated to pbf was dictated to cotto was dictated to I could go on and on. Ggg and his fans think that he doesn't have to and that he's the king of the sport despite never beating anyone of note and failing miserably in his first ppv. All of this will come back to bite him in the ass one day though.
