This is the second major title GGG handed out because the former champ chose to vacate rather than defending against him. I don't know what to feel about this.

It's obviously not triple G's fault, boxing fans are stupid if they think it is

His resume is still weak. He won't be remembered by the belts he hold but by the fighters he got in the ring with and at the moment at the age of 36 he has still hasn't fought anybody.

Yeah. But I think similar to Geale, Canelo will eventually run out of options and be willing to take the fight.

    That's right.

GGG and Kovalev should be lineal. Possessing 3 out of 4 belts clearly suggests you are "the man" in any division.

He has all the belts now, so I guess it's time to finally move up and challenge Andre Ward.

You must not pay a lot of attention, he still needs the WBO

This tells you how avoided Golovkin is. He gets titles without even having to fight for them HAHAHAHHA

But why, back in the day Jones, Hopkins and Tszyu were all considered undisputed champion without the WBO belt :think

    Bring on Saunders and Jacobs.

Canelo is a coward, just like Cotto was. Glad he finally dropped the belt.

Time to get full unification as soon as possible.

    King Golovkin wants his belts.

GGG don't want just a damn title belt, he wants the payday and a notable name on his resume. Getting belts without actually fighting for it won't help his pockets or his legacy after boxing.

Oh, it will definitely help his legacy if guys avoided him. Everyone knows about Chicken Bowe dropping the belt to avoid Lewis.

GGG wants to unify and he wants middleweight records. He's well on his way to that.

    The money will come.

On one hand Canelo walked into a tight spot, he only did what his predecessors did to game the system

if he wants to fight at 155 because he isnt a middleweight then good for him he knows his limitations but im glad hes dumping the wbc instead of holding it hostage

golovkin hopefully can secure a jacobs fight
