So, basically you're taking a stand for the corruption and hating on a fighter for not bending over the diva terms. Cool.

Once again I will ask you because I need you to explain it to me. I find you entertaining

Golovkin was never a super middleweight, didn't hold a super middleweight title world title but in your mind ducked Ward right?

Ok let's just say that's true (I don't believe it is) but let's just say it is...

Canelo who was in Golovkins weight class, held a middleweight world title and drops it to avoid fighting Golovkin (who was his mandatory) yet you are still saying Golovkin ducked Canelo or somehow it's Golovkins fault?

Explain it to me please :think

I want a guy to pay his dues like everyone else has had to. Is that too much to ask? If he had a better resume I wouldn't have as much of a problem with his diva behavior but he hasn't beaten one fighter of note and his first ppv was a miserable failure. The guy is acting like he did 500k in buys and a good resume.

Apparently WBC Prez Mauricio Sulaiman issued a ruling that required Canelo to strike a deal with Triple G by May 24th.

That ruling forced GBP and Canelo to vacate the belt. I don’t see why Sulaiman did that. It is very possible that Canelo was intending on making the fight with GGG as his next opponent, but for Sulaiman to say “it’s gotta be done by May 24th .. or else” is kind of disrespectful to Canelo.

I think this hurts the WBC’s credibility. For them to basically force Canelo to vacate, then to recognize Triple GG as the WBC’s full MW Champion is a joke.

This is no way to unify the MW title, and it hurts boxing. You should have allowed Canelo a reasonable amount of time to make the fight with GGG. Canelo has just recently come out of a tough fight with Khan and deserved a few weeks of vacation before coming to the table to make a GGG fight. Shame on you Sulaiman.

Then why in the hell was he trying to fight froch and chavez jr for at 168? What title did Chavez Jr hold when ggg wanted him at 168? Ggg said anyone from 168-154 but when ward comes knocking he says ahhhh no not you for you 164. The guy is a hypocrite. Now that he's unified without ever fighting for the wbc title let's see if he'll stay in the dead division facing c level mandos or take a risk and move up.

I don't really understand why GGG was the mandatory for the WBC in the first place, I didn't think other title holders could be rated by different organisations. I get that he beat Rubio who was the WBC interim champ but I would have thought that Rubio was vacating the interim WBC title so he could get a shot at GGG's WBA title?

Clearly you and I differ on the definition of diva behavior. I don't think refusing to play along with diva terms is being a diva. But It's okay.

Plus, we don't even know what's really going on in the negatiations. For all I know, GBP does not want that fight to happen in anytime soon, not before Canelo takes two or three more fights so they encouraged Canelo to drop the title.

Yes, that's exactly what those girls are crying about. Floyd and likes turned boxing into cherry picking business, and those crying bi!ches are so used to it that they can't understand a psychology of the real sportsman who wants to compete in accordance to rules at the weight defined by rules, fight other champions and mandatories instead of cherry picking shot "name" opponents or chinny welterweights.

You are wise Pimp, he should pay his dues by fighting Canelo an his preferred weight. Canelo comes at 175 lb fight night is still the smaller guy, no matter what anyone says. GGG on fight night is 172, so he should move up to fight guys his own size at 168. I mean Ward just jumped right up to 175 without a tuneup or anything and is fighting Kovalev right away.
I gotta say though when u mentioned that GGG needs to earn his stripes, like everyone else. I mean Canelo got a shot at the MW title by earning it. Cotto got shot at the middleweight crown by beating ranked guys at 160. Now its GGGs turn to earn his stripes.

You're forgetting one thing both of these guys had to take risks or make concessions to get to where they are at today. Cotto had to with pac catchweight got dictated to by pbf. Canelo had a catchweight with pbf and got dictated to took a risk fighting Lara a guy who's been avoided and got dictated to by Cotto. When has ggg done anything that close? He hasn't and he isn't half the draw those guys were. Both of which had much better numbers in their first ppvs and we're bigger draws. You can say what you want but they both paid dues something ggg refuses to do.

I must say, I did not see this coming, even despite the recent shennanigans I kinda still had respect for Canelo, I thought he's the type that has some pride. Seems not.
