    Tough, maybe.

But Takam comes forward all night and could be taylor made for Parker's heavy punches.

takam needs this to be a war to win

    parker does not

parker to use his speed/ height /length/ quick hands to get off volley of punches and then get out before takam can get off.

in the end takam might be reluctent to rumble forward to avoid being tattoed.

parker must not fight a povetkin v takam type fight and take it into the pocket and fight a war of attrition.

takam is heavy handed but not a 1 punch fighter so parket can make mistakes and still win.

i see this as parker showcasing his abilty v an opponent that suits him and winning by late stoppage or something like 118-110 on the cards.

I hope Parker pulls this one off. He's on the upside and if he proves to be the goods, it'll be great for the future of the HW division. Same goes for Joshua.

This fight is much likelier to be a WAR than many HW fights, I believe. Styles make fights.

    Agree or disagree?

Takam looks way more menacing in that pic than my nan does when she wears the same top

I agree this could be a real barn burner.

Takam is the smaller man and while he may box a bit like he did early against Povetkin he's far more likely to end up trying to push Parker back, especially as Parker prefers to be the aggressor and will benefit from Takam trying to box him. So it's only a matter of time before Takam looks to apply the pressure.

Parker doesn't box off the back foot he prefers to be the one stalking his opponent down and beating his opponent to the punch so he to is likely to take the fight right to Takam and instead of moving and countering will look to impose his speed advantage early and push Takam back.

This has the potential to be one of the most exciting fights at heavyweight for some time. I can't wait to see what happens.

has potential to be a war i agree due to there styles.

i disagree that it will be a war / parker has the tools to make it a showcase fight for himself and earn good reviews doing so.

i think team parker have picked the right fighter in takam to showcase parker to the world.

    takam is solid/has decent abilty / good inside fighter/ strong/stamina /durability

is average though in many things
    handspeed/footspeed /power /jab/fighting on the outside/.

cannot see parker losing this unless he just stays in the pocket and goes to war/ even then i think takams lack of power would not put off parker /who would gett off quicker more powerfull combos.

IMO takam is being made more of a threat than what he is.
he is a decent all around solid lower top 10/20 fighter never going to be a champ / which parker has the abilty to be.

The heavyweight division needs this to be a war right now. All the momentum is lost right now with recent developments. I still believe Takam is overrated and he'll lose by TKO. I can only hope that isn't the case.

    I believe Takam loses.

If Parker has the raw power his handlers say he has this should be a fight that doesn't go pat 6 rounds. I don't know if Takam is as skilled or as fierce as some have been saying he is, but I cant help feeling Takam is the B class fighter that Parker needs in order to step up a level. That means he cant be accused anymore of being fed guys who only serve to pad his record :deal:thumbsup
